Race #1 Things to Know
Hello Runners,
Race day is here, race day is here! We are happy to have you join us for first race of the 10th running of the Autumn Trail Series. Here are a few things to know for this Wednesday evening.
Parking is available in the far parking lot past the Visitor Center at 10145 Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington.
The weather is forecasted to be great for an early fall race. The temperature is forecasted to be in the low 70s, a nice breeze and more importantly low humidity. We will have water at the start and a water stop near the Richardson Nature Center. The water stop is sponsored by Steve Smillie, realtor with Edina Realty.
To pick up your packet you will enter Jan’s Place, the building in the Edgewood Picnic area, and go to the first table.
Jack & Jody Heitzman’s Goat Run course will loop around the picnic area up to the wood chip trail to the Y and will return back to the finish line near Jan’s Place. Here is the course map.
New this year for young runners we have 4 small youth shirts and 4 medium youth shirts for sale at $10 a piece. Additionally we will have past year shirts available for sale at $5 a piece. Cash or check is preferable, credit card is possible, but will include a 2.75% service fee.
If this is your first time running in the series check out our episode on, C Tolle Run. It was filmed at the first race four years ago.
We have Thrive Chiropractic continuing as a sponsor this year. Storm Creek is providing the race shirts. TC Running Co is providing awards for the top 3 male and female for each race.
Our drawings will feature swag from TC Running Co, FITS Socks, among other items. We will be doing a combination of what we have done in the past with some of the awards drawn during the race and the numbers posted and the other awards drawn live. Live drawing winners must be present.

- Check in/bib pick up begins at 5:30pm.
- Jack & Jody’s Goat Run begins at 6:00pm
- Race begins at 6:30pm

- Give the volunteers your last name
- They will give you your number, your beer ticket (if an adult) and drawing ticket (if running in the Adult/Open race)
- Go to the back table to pick up
- Your shirt if you signed up for the Full Series Adult
- Your beverage coozy, which you can use post race

Race #4 - Time to Celebrate
Congratulations to all the runners! Tonight the Series came to a close as we celebrated another fun and exciting year. There were several age groups that were decided on this running. Check out the results.
As difficult as it was to top race #3's weather, Mother Nature did.

Race #3 Results
Race #3 had the best weather of the Series this year. The temp was 64 with low humidity. Today was the first time on the Southern course, where we ran along Hyland Lake Park, up Tree Farm Hill, through the campgrounds and back along the lake.
